Sarailia este un desert dulce si insiropat, specific bucatariei turcesti, asemanatoare cu baclavaua. Au aceeasi compozitie insa difera modul de prezentare, sarailiile fiind sub forma de cilindru iar baclavalele taindu-se patrate. Baclavalele de regula se presara cu fistic.

Oricum ar fi sunt absolut delicioase si au avantajul ca pot fi preparate si in post. Daca nu va surade ideea de a folosi unt , ulei, sau margarina le ungeti pur si simplu cu apa.

Ingrediente

  • 1/2 pachet foi placinta
  • 300 g miez nuca
  • 100 g margarina sau ulei
  • 500 ml apa
  • 150 g zahar
  • 150 ml miere de albine
  • 1 lingurita scortisoara

Mod de preparare

Taiem foile de placinta in patru. Luam cate doua si le ungem pe toata suprafata cu ulei. Presaram miezul de nuca macinat.

Rulam si strangem putin ca sa se increteasca usor. Asezam sarailiele in tava unsa cu margarina sau ulei. Le ungem si deasupra.

Le dam la cuptor la foc mediu si in timp ce ele se coc preparam siropul. Punem pe foc apa cu zaharul, mierea si scortisoara si dam in cateva clocote pana obtinem un sirop gros. Il strecuram si il lasam sa se raceasca .

Cand s-au rumenit usor deasupra scoatem sarailiile din cuptor. Cat sunt fierbinti turnam siropul rece peste ele ( neaparat sarailiile trebuie sa fie calde si siropul rece, in caz contrar se vor incruzi).

Dupa ce s-au racorit le dam la frigider si le lasam pana vor absorbi tot siropul. Ideal este sa le serviti a doua zi fiindca nu vor mai fi atat de dulci si vor fi mai bine patrunse de sirop.
